A tragic Danish story, which could have been prevented?

2 weeks ago, the Danish police raided a house in the small village of Kundby. They arrested a 15-year-old girl of Danish origins and later a 24-year-old man from another part of Denmark. He had a family with foreign background. According to the present information in the case, these two people never met.

The girl was charged with housing a number of explosive and for publicly approving terrorist acts committed by ISIS. The question everybody ask if there could have been done something to prevent this girl to go down this path. Why wasn’t she using her afternoon in the Friday bar at her high school hanging out drinking beer or wine enjoying herself?

She was a former student at Isefjordsskolen. She redrew herself from the school some months before the arrest. Due to the court order of giving the police peace to investigate the case without the media watching as it has become common in terrorist related cases, people are told not to talk about the case. The school will not comment on the case or if they as they are subjected to do report the girl to the social services for not attending the normal social circles.

It has become focus for many schools lately. When terrorist acts are committed by single persons and so to say hired over the Internet, you can only catch them by reporting people who remove themselves from social circles in school or at the workplace. If they do not attend the weekly Friday bar, something is wrong. Personally, I suspect that the school reported her to the social services. The social services then reported her to the police when they discovered that it was not depression or other kind of mental illness.

Mental illnesses are rather shunned in the Danish society in such a degree that it could become rather expensive for the family to treat if the social services become involved. A stay in a group home caused by depression or even as little as sadness due to death or illness in the family are fined by the social services. In Denmark, only ordinary illnesses are treated for free in the hospitals. Mental illnesses often caused by family relations or heritage, the authorities do not like.

Some family friends pay more than 4,000 euros per year for the stay of their daughter in a group home because the daughter was sad about her mother’s depression and became a target for bullying in school. The social services paid her a visit and found too many teddy bears (around 50) in her room and diagnosed her to have become too shielded by her parents. I understand that you might find the state of Denmark too interfering if you are a foreigner but that is the social services in Denmark and how they work.

Then of course, in this case they have not been around at all after the arrest of the girl. The girl was placed in an adult jail despite her age but again terrorism is a severe charge. The jails in Denmark are not gender separated so it is not going to be a fun stay and of course, the staff cannot be around all time. Denmark has signed a convention preventing that but Denmark is very close to collapse in general due to the huge migration so the law cannot be uphold in all places even by the authorities.

For 14 days, her lawyer only visited the girl. The mother was not allowed to visit her. In addition, the social services are not used to severe cases like these either. Often hinting families solve more severe cases that it is time to move out of the town so a new department of social services in another city can start over with the family. However, the newspapers wrote about the social services not visiting and now there were forced to act.

The question remains:
  • Could this case have been prevented?
  • Could the school have reported her sooner so it had remained a case for the social services only?
  • What is the role of the 24-year-old-man when they never met in person?

There are so many questions and they can only be answered if the police label it an ordinary case instead of a terrorist case so it can be dealt with in an open court.

2016 - a new year with new challenges

I have been busy the last couple of months. Work took a lot of time. Because we are stepping into a new time I will reflect a little. At work some of my co-workers will stop and seek new opportunities. It is fine co-workers but their home is in Sweden and the office they are working in, is placed in Copenhagen.

Thanks to the newly introduced border control they cannot get back home and sleep before they have to wake up and start going to work. I understand them and I am divided on the question of border control. One part of me is Dane where I cannot understand why Sweden steps away from taking responsibility in the migration crisis.

But I am also co-worker. I have to have someone to drink beers with after work, which work is all about. Otherwise we could all work from home never meeting the persons we do business with.

And it is difficult to be a commuter. In Denmark driving to work equals being on the lookout for speed traps all the time. It is very stressful and many times I wish that I could retire early because when you arrive at work you are so stressful and you are not fun for anyone.

2016 will be a difficult year for me both as a Dane and as a co-worker. I am not happy.

Driving without front license plates

It is nice that people are starting to speak out against the authorities hunt on people who dont have their front license plate on.

I am a Dane. In Denmark there are speed traps anywhere. As result unemployment can often be better than a job because you risk fines everywhere. In the start people removed their front license plate but the police quickly went after them. It is not freedom. It a daily life far worse than the one people become refugees from in Syria and Africa.

So please stand up for the people who drive around without front license plate. Convicting this cop could be a start for a better future for us drivers the world over.

I have to speak up

Being party an immigrant myself I have to speak up as I can see a society close to be broken down.

Denmark will try to defend its borders against refugees from other parts of the world. People who will not benefit our country in any way.

3 firms - Grundfos, Microsoft and Novasol are trying to stop this vital defense of our proud nation. I am shocked but then again they are only interested in profit and they are not contributing anything to our society, so why shouldn't they?

I hope that our government stands firm and make the campaign with video youtube and all.

Novasol wants to rent out holiday houses. I guess people want to come here and rent the houses without having a lot of refugees next to them. Tourists who visit Spain, Italy and Greece are already complaining about having to see poor people next to them at the beaches. I don't understand their motivation unless they will enter the business and rent out holiday houses to the authorities so they can house refugees in them.

Microsoft have caused massive unemployment and hardship in Danish firms when they retired XAL, C5 and older versions of Navision. People cannot start over when then have used 20 years on the old product. Especially because the companies rather want young people from schools instead of updating more experience people. Microsoft knew that and still they did actions causing people to lose their jobs.

Grundfos has fired a lot of people moving part of their production to Hungary and Serbia. The last one a country Denmark fought during the Bosnian war. People ended up on welfare in Denmark due to Grundfos's need for profit. So while Denmark had to pay for unemployment benefit this firm wants Denmark to pay for a lot of freeloaders - refugees also.

Stop these greedy firms. Denmark has the right to defend themselves.

Lack of security and identity thefts cost Danish students any future

An international gang of hackers used the conflict between CSC and their workers to hack into central registers which were left open for all to copy for month. None of the cheap imported Indian replacement workers discovered that the security was breached. The result was a massive number of cases where Danish identities were copied.

Unknown people caring Danish passports committed vandalism in Prague. Using the copied passport numbers the police sent the demand for compensation to the young Danes who had these original passports and they are now forced to pay a fortune because rules in the European Union prevent them from seeking the rulings in courts down there challenged in Danish courts. For many of the teenagers their future ends before it is starting. Some have working class background and they will based on their social heritage never be able to pay this massive sum.

The time has come to create a new system in Denmark for social security numbers. At the same time every parent should see to that their children are kept at home instead of participating in the binge drinking holiday which is the only attraction in the Czech Republic. The only message the authorities in the Czech Republic understands is money. No tourists. No money. We have the power to pressure them. We have to use our power.

Last but least maybe the state of Denmark should insource the management of important data like social security numbers, driver’s licenses and passports. Too many of these important documents are lying around everywhere. The local city halls in Denmark contain passports in an unfinished state. Several have been stolen. They are important papers for every possible terrorist. We need them to be guarded better.

Attack on the Freedom of speech

I got a email yesterday about a boarding school in Hurricane Utah where teenagers have died. Apparently they are now going after bloggers who have told the public about the deaths. They have attacked former students due to them telling how it was to go to school at this boarding school.

I am only asking. If every school could sue former students to keep them silence then we would still have evilness like Indian Schools where the children were beaten and denied the right to speak their native language.

This boarding school named Diamond Ranch Academy take in students against their will. Of course they are not happy being forced to live apart from their family. Why shouldn't they be allowed to tell their side of the story.

Of course I understand that they fear for their business. I am only saying: Then stop taking students in against their will! Take those in who might have an issue but are prepared to do something about it. They exist!

Having googled a little I found the school listed on a blog over 1,000 places you don't want to be as a teenager. It doesn't sound good. I found information about the two dead dudes. It doesn't sound good.

How can you expect anyone to be positive about this place?

And now they are targeting the Freedom of speech. I am stunned.

I hope they will close down tomorrow.

The politicians might save jobs with a new speed bill

The Danish parliament has decided that the owner of a car should pay the speeding ticket regardless of who the driver is. It is actually a good idea because the owner will not be punished with losing points on their driver’s license.

It might save jobs. At my work place we had to fire 3 employees because Microsoft introduced a new version of C5 Dynamic program where all the old adjustments had to be rewritten to the new version in a new language only few programmers can program in for now. It makes it expensive for the firms and almost every firm I have contact tell me the same.

Microsoft have cost us jobs. We have to lay off people so we can afford to use Microsoft's programs in the future

Now we can drive faster. Maybe not so many needs to lose their job in the future due to higher productivity
