COP15 is a joke

Well, I tried to warn people from entering Denmark in the days before COP15 started. After all, our parliament created a set of emergency laws to protect property from foreign vandalists. People didn't listen. They entered Denmark and now they complain about how hard it is to pay the price.

Look how a young man from Sweden tells his story about he was detained in the Guardian.

According to my book the police did everything the right way. They did what the state of emergency laws allowed them to do. If you think their actions are wrong please write our politicians who have given them the rather extreme power.

But what was the alternative?

Denmark has seen how football / soccer fans have created riots in Copenhagen before. Regardless of how motivated and patriotic our police force is they simply hadn't the tools to prevent riots previously. Then some politicians choose that Denmark should house COP15. The price was extremely high as we can read in our newspapers that India voted for us in return to receive the right to prosecute our human aid workers for fabricated crimes. However export from Denmark to India is important as we are a huge shipping nation. Old ships have to be deposed off somewhere and India seems to offer excellent service in that regard.

So Saturday almost 1,000 protesters were arrested. The next two days we are talking 200 protesters per day and the worst is still to come. According to sources among the protesters they will try to force themselves into the meeting during the next couple of days.

If the criticism of our police and their effort to maintain peace in our country isn't bad enough, even the so-called politicians seems to act as rioters themselves.

Here I am thinking of representatives of the so-called G-77 which is a club of nations we are paying for through our aid to the third world. The money we pay to them, but we could have made better use of here. Did we ever receive even small thanks from these moochers?

What is the purpose of the attack on the Danish text? We all know that the Danish text represent the solution for the Earth. Personally I believe that Mr. Lumumba was sent out on a mission to remove focus on Human rights violation in Sudan. His actions are a combination of getting 5 minutes of fame and to guilt-pay us into believes that we cannot criticize his President because they choose to commit ethnic cleansing.

He could have chosen COP16 to do that. His actions don't belong in Copenhagen. When we are talking about Denmark, we are talking about maybe one of a few nations on this Earth who pays the United Nations what they owe. I know that the reason that some like the United States withholds their payment is that there is corruption in the organization. But as member of the European Union we Danes know that in any larger international organization corruption is essential to keep low-paid officials working at all. They are simply naïve.

The so-called Danish text will be an excellent End declaration. I know that our secret police arrested a critic of the COP15 named Tadzio Müller when he was finished speaking at the conference. He will “disappear” for some time. I really don’t like to write about this more dark secret side of Denmark but I have to point out that security after 9/11 has become more important. I will send my hugs to his relatives. They will need it.

I am just asking why they don’t take this Lumumba fellow from Sudan also. After all, his President is labeled a criminal and he is doing nothing good for the environment at the summit.

I just hope that we can overcome these last days without too much damage to our city.
